This 3 hour Saturday workshop, taught by fiber artist Sonya Benham (@sonya.benham), is from 2pm - 5pm. In this workshop, you will learn how to design and create macrame tapestry pa nels. We’ll make a mini wall hanging together but with your newfound skills, you can go on to make larger pieces, as well as functional items such as hot pads or coasters. All materials and optional patterns will be included but if you have a pair of fabric shears, feel free to bring them along. You’ll also receive an illustrated how-to of the knots and a yarn needle to take home. The first 3 photos are examples of the size we'll make. The larger tapestries show what you'll be able to do!
