The Febco 710HFEB is a 2" atmospheric vacuum breaker designed to protect potable water systems from backsiphonage. Built with a rough bronze body and lightweight plastic poppet, the 710 Series is intended for non-continuous cold-water applications such as hose bibs, turf irrigation, chemical vats, X‑ray tanks, and laboratory sinks. Durable bronze body with rough bronze finish for long service life. Lightweight, serviceable plastic poppet and resilient rubber disc for reliable closure. Female NPT inlet and outlet; end connections meet ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 standards. Maximum working pressure 150 psi (10.3 bar); recommended water temperature 32°F to 110°F (0°C to 43°C). Not for continuous pressure applications - install on the discharge side of the last shutoff valve. Serviceable in-line from the top of the unit; repair kits and literature are available. Meets ASSE performance specifications for atmospheric vacuum breakers.
