Federales Bait Solution is a great way to make your own Federales bait to be used for predator trapping including coyotes, bobcats, fox, even raccoon. This solution has the same in gredients used in Federales bait which includes added key ingredients that is highly attractive to predators. Bait solution can be used with your choice of meat base- beaver, muskrat, bobcat, mice, etc. You will need to add preservatives to your meat at whatever your desired consistency of meat is. Sodium Benzoate is a good option- 1 cup of preservative to 1 gallon of meat is a good start. Add bait solution and mix thoroughly. Store in a closed container and open to release built up gasses daily until there is no more build up of gasses and meat is preserved. This mixture is for 1 gallon of meat. Show more
