Vincent Van Duysen designed Fedrigo for Zanotta in 2025 as an exercise in quiet resolution. The backrest flows without interruption into the armrests, forming a single continuous upholstered volume that reads as both generous and precise. The construction reflects a considered approach to materials. A strong, lightweight plywood frame supports Circullarrefoam® polyurethane padding made with recycled polyols. Back cushions are filled with recycled PET fiber. Glue-free assembly and fully removable upholstery allow for disassembly, repair, and reconfiguration over the life of the piece. Fedrigo carries that philosophy into the living room with a silhouette that settles into a space rather than commanding it.
