Some horses, no longer rigid on the b it, may chew on it, potentially deforming it.Like rubber, copper, resin, or flexi bits, leather-covered bits can wear out quickly depending on your horse's dentition. It is advisable not to use a bit that is too worn, as it could injure the horse, and it is crucial to check the condition of your mount's bars, dentition, and palate.
