Prior to 1835 3 to 4 feet Believed by some authorities to be a cross between China and multiflora, ‘Fellenberg’ is now taking its place as one of the very few red Noisettes. It is very free-flowering, with clusters of loose, rosy scarlet blooms. Healthy foliage decorates a plant of spreading habit and it is best used as a shrub or container rose.
