The Galaxy-E 500 is the Galaxy with the handle taken off: an electric punch to twenty-eight sheets, the same 500 sheet capacity, the same 51mm maximum comb and the same removable Satellite platform, so punching and binding still happen side by side rather than queueing at one station. Its published usage rating is heavy. The electric punch takes twenty-eight sheets, the full size storage tray is reached from the front and carries Fellowes' patented comb and document measure, and the Satellite platform lifts off for binding. A twenty document starter kit is included and Fellowes gives a two year warranty. The combs it binds with are at plastic binding combs, the rest of the range is at comb binding machines, and the wire and thermal machines sit with the other binding machines.
