Our Nepalese felted hearts are handmade and crafted from Merino wool from New Zealand. These hearts are created through a process called felting, where the wool fibers are agitated and compressed in water to form a dense, durable fabric. The artisans use traditional techniques passed down through generations, often working in small, family-run workshops or cooperatives. Our felt hearts are usually brightly coloured, with shades ranging from vibrant reds and pinks to softer pastels, making them popular as gifts, ornaments, or decorative items. The natural wool gives each heart a unique texture, and the process of felting results in a slightly irregular, charming, and handmade appearance.
