It is just for practice, not for taking to your gigs to show off a design. Before painting your practice head it is recommended to spray it with a nice coat of aerosol hair spray, to limit staining. Also, try to wash the head as soon as possible after painting it. Paints with high concentrations of pigment like DFX and Wolfe Black may leave a faded stain. Alcohol and a Magic Eraser will help a lot.
