The edge of the bass side waist as well as other areas throughout the sides and edges have sections where the finish has chipped away. Finish checking can be seen throughout the body and dents and dings are present on the top. The back of the neck is dinged around the lower register. The finish on the headstock face has ambered and checked. Miscellaneous dings and dents are present, as well. The hardware shows tarnish and patina.Serial Number: 275122Tech Notes: Currently, set up with 10-gauge strings and low action. The frets are skinny and low showing moderate play wear. -- The serial number and pot codes date this instrument from the year 1970, but the neck and bridge pickups date to 1971 so we are calling it a 1971.
