Check for leaks around all Cap / Threads by tipping it upside down, in all directions where there are risks of leakage. Keeping the units out of direct sunlight is a must for all PET fermenters. Sunlight degrades PET. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 35°C and pressure ferment past 5psi at these temperatures.
