This native TX barrel cactus has proven to be reliably hardy in our trials, so we are offering plants grown from Yucca Do seed collected in Alpine, TX. The 1' wide barrels with dow nward-curving spines are topped, in late spring, with yellow helichrysum-like flowers. The plant from which we gathered the seed was growing in a dry, rocky, alkaline site, but the offspring have been equally happy in our amended acidic clay. Show more
