Selection Des Anges Cognac Ferrand SDA (Sélection des Anges) is an unusually lively XO Cognac that invites you taste the peak potential of Ferrand’s prestigious Grande Champagne vineyards. Named after the French term for “angel’s share”, over half of the eau-du-vie originally entered into cask has been lost to evaporation, creating an incredibly concentrated and complex profile during the spirit's slow maturation in Ferrand’s cellars. Paradoxically vibrant, yet with the rich roundness that comes with decades of age in a humid cellar, Ferrand SDA opens with a bouquet reminiscent of baking on a spring day. A fresh-from-the-oven pastry profile of raisin, honey, vanilla, and apricot is followed by elegant floral notes of rose and jasmine from the garden.
