Several translucent clove brown bladed Ferro-Axinite crystals, with sharp terminations, interlink to form a fine display. The crystals are very lustrous, measuring up to 2.9cm in w idth. The matrix is covered by a druse of tiny bladed Calcite crystals contrasting well with the Ferro-Axinite crystals. The reverse of the matrix is adorned with a gemmy slightly smoky 1.4cm cluster of Quartz crystals. Minor nibbles along some crystal edges as you would expect from such a sharply bladed brittle mineral, but the translucency, lustre and aesthetic display make this a fine specimen. Show more
