Each FireRope contains approximately 4 smaller wound rope sections which can be peeled apart exposing hundreds of smaller wax infused strands that can be made into a "birds nest" to easily catch a spark and ignite. Just wad the strands into a small bundle, place the ferrous rod in the center, and in a few strikes you'll have a fire going.
