Ferrous Gluconate is an iron medicine used to prevent and treat iron deficiency and iron-deficiency anaemia. Key features: Contains ferrous gluconate 300 mg Provides approximately 35 mg elemental iron per tablet Lower elemental iron content per tablet than many ferrous sulfate or fumarate preparations Supports normal red blood cell production How to take:Take exactly as directed on the pack or by your doctor or pharmacist. The required dose depends on whether the medicine is being used to prevent or treat iron deficiency. Important information:Iron may cause stomach upset, constipation and dark stools.
