Why We’re Sew Into 'Fervent Brass': Its modern check pattern, where intersecting lines curate elegance with precision, structure and rhythm Its charming symphony of hues, where tawny brown/burnt orange leads, joined by brick red and duck egg blue Its plush velvet nap that makes a timeless statement of glamor with its tactile appeal and graceful lustre HomeSewn Wisdom: Dress a boys' bedroom: Style a teen boy's room with Fervent Brass plaid velvet curtains. The orderly structure, clean lines, and sharp angles of the checks channel boyish energy, and their versatility makes them a timeless addition that will endure his coming-of-age evolutions in tastes and preferences. Pick a formal heading style: Dress these plaid velvet curtains in pinch pleat headers as their tailored gather accentuates velvet's sheen and bespoke elegance. Their architectural pre-sewn pleats and graceful drape complements both the geometric precision of checks and the glam appeal of velvet. Consider roman shades: If you’re dressing a small window or a compact room, try roman shades in Fervent Brass as a sleek and stylish alternative to curtains. They will offer you the same designer appeal as drapes without commanding any more space than the window itself. Order swatches: Screens may lie; swatches don’t. For the most accurate representation of color, pattern and texture, order a sample of the Fervent Brass fabric before placing your window treatments order. This will allow you to experience the fabric in your own lighting and setting, so you can commit to it with confidence. Coordinate with accessories: For a cohesive bespoke look, coordinate your curtains with other textile accessories in the room. Order matching cushions, bed runners, table covers, etc. from us or buy Fervent Brass fabric by the yard to create something uniquely yours. The Nitty-Gritty (Made Pretty): Prices are per panel, not per pair because sometimes all you need is a solo act on a narrow attic window. No forcing you to spend on two where one will do. Hardware is not included with our drapes, so please be prepared with poles, rings and other pretty little things. Each drapery panel at Sewn is handcrafted by skilled artisans from India who pour care, precision and decades of experience into every stitch.
