Pixel are to be pushed into coro props and mounting trim by the customer. Instructions for pixel pushing and general network connections will be provided with package delivery. Mount the props to your home or in your yard using standard ground stakes, zip ties, PVC or other mounting material of your choice. What Traditional Lights Do I Buy? The CTB16PC controller in this package is designed operate standard basic Christmas string lights (LED or incandescent): the hundreds of boxes on the shelves at retail stores during the Christmas season. Ensure that the lights you purchase are dimmable - Non dimmable lights will greatly restrict the sequencing effects you can use, and you will not be able to use our store sequences. Do not purchase any lights that have their own attached control mechanism, i.e. through a patterned control switch, remote control, or phone app, unless the lights can also operate standalone plugged into a normal wall outlet, without their controller. Here are your options for sequences: Create sequences yourself using our software and load them onto the blank SD card Purchase sequences out of our Sequence Store and load them onto the included blank card in your desired order Buy a pre-loaded SD card playlist and skip using a computer altogether Controller Details The Assembled Pixie16 controllers include the controller board and power supply wired and mounted in a weather-proof, ventilated and UL listed enclosure. The power supply is UL listed: MeanWell LRS-600-12 - 120/240V input (User Selectable) - 12V - 50A output - with extended temperature operating range. This is a 12 Volt controller system compatible with 12V RGB smart pixel strands and devices. Dumb RGB devices or standard LED / Incandescent lights cannot be plugged into the ports of this controller. Purchases outside the United States and Canada are assembled with an internationally approved and UL listed: MeanWell RSP-500-12 - 120/240V input - 12V - 41.7A output - with Power Factor Correction and extended temperature operating range. The CTB16PC-ReadyToGO is a fully assembled 16 channel, weather-resistant light controller that can operate independently (standalone mode non-musical), operate as the (non-musical) director unit in a multi-controller network or as an add-on unit of a larger synchronized network of controllers (musical or non-musical). Each of the 16 independent channels has a number of possible effects such as dimming, ramping, twinkle and shimmer. This controller can be used with standard LED or incandescent light strands; pixels may not be plugged into any of the 16 channels on this controller. RGBPlus Sequences For non-modified use with RGBPlus sequences, the controllers in this package must be connected to Networks 1 & 2 following the instructions provided to you upon delivery. Our "CPC" packages include the "Coro, Pixels, and Controller" you need to easily add smart pixel props into to your display. These packages can be connected to an existing network of Gen3 Light-O-Rama Controllers, or used on a separate network within the same show. A Cat5 cable is required to connect this controller to existing controllers in a multi-controller network, or a computer/showtime director if it is the only Unit in the show. S6.2.0 or higher is recommended for easiest use for personal sequence creation; a Pro license level is required to use Pixel Motion Effects. RGBPlus sequence requirements are listed per purchase page (either 5.6.0+ or 6.2.0+). If you you purchase a pre-loaded SD card, software use is not required.
