Experience a unique wine tasting event and Christmas market at Europe's largest cellar village. Itinerary Date: 6th December 2025. Departure: 10 am from Tudásközpont parkoló (the parking lot behind the Knowledge Centre). Travel Time: approx. 90 mins. Arrival at Hajós Baroque Palace: 11.30 am. Optional visit and guided tour of the palace, approx. 1 hour (2500/ 1250 HUF pp depending on group size). Arrival at Hajós Cellar Village: 1.00 pm. Guided tour of the Visitor Centre, cellar visit, orientation walk, cellar village information. Guests are provided with 5 tasting tickets and a tasting glass that can be used in any of the open cellars. 5 tasting tickets and the tasting glass are included in the price of the trip. Guests can explore the open cellars individually and pick the wines they would like to taste. Many cellars are open for visitors at this annual event and await guest with their best wines and hospitality. Free time for exploring the village, wine tasting at the open cellars, browsing the market stalls: approx 14.00-17.00. Lunch is not provided, guests can buy their own lunch at the food stalls, there is a restaurant as well, or they can bring packed lunch. There is no food shop or supermarket in the cellar village.
