Title: Hay Bales 1 Photographer: Jerry LoFaro Location: Henniker, New Hampshire Caption: There's something about hay bales strewn across a beautiful field like pieces on a gigantic game board that is so attractive, and I stop on Old Concord Rd in my town to photograph them when ever they're out. Gotta be quick though, as they usually get hauled away in a day or so once they've been baled, and hopefully the lighting conditions are favorable. It's great fun to move around and compose the shapes, and I love the juxtaposition of the warm and cool colors, and the long shadows. The three photographs in this series are meant to flow together, and will look fabulous as a triptych on your wall - especially if you live in a restored barn!
