The Muuto Fiber Bar Stool has an expression that is both comfortable and harmonious, it is a design with an unobtrusive yet distinct identity. Offered with or without backrest, the Fiber Bar Stool encapsulates the ideals of unpretentious design with a human touch.Fiber Bar Stool is the elevated extension to the Fiber Chair family. Retaining the essence of the Fiber series – a clear sculptural language that refuses to compromise on comfort - the bar stool is a versatile and conforming companion for any setting. Copenhagen based design duo Iskos-Berlin on the design: "We wanted to create a harmonious and friendly piece with soft shapes that would suit a café setting as much as a bar or kitchen counter. The stool’s seat contains a wood fiber composite, giving the chair its distinctive visual and tactile texture while keeping it recyclable". When viewed from a distance the chair appears to be made from a smooth plastic, however upon closer inspection the character of the wood fibre construction becomes apparent. The Fiber range is available in many Kvadrat brand fabrics including: Remix, Steelcut, Steelcut Trio, Canvas, Divina and Hallingdal. Also available in a range of silk leather tones, Elmosoft leather and imitation leathers. Here we offer you the most popular options but feel free to get in touch to choose your own fabric specification.
