Ravensclaw's Fiber Control Units, offer full communications for all our heads over a single fiber. The Fiber Control Units work with all of Ravensclaw’s equipment as well as the Varizoom Cinema Pro, Cinema Pro JR and CP Micro heads. The Fiber Control Units work in pairs, with one unit on the console side and one on the head side. Connection to the fiber units is through a DB15HD DSUB connector, or our 7-pin control LEMO, available on request. DB15HD to LEMO Control Cables are available separately and are side specific. Each Fiber Control Unit is powered by an included wall-wart power supply. With the optional LEMO upgrade, a standard Control Cable can now be used to supply power to the A-Side Fiber Unit from the head, and the external Fiber Unit power supply is no longer needed. The upgrade also allows the B-Side Fiber Unit to supply power to the console using a standard Control Cable; the console power supply is no longer needed. River consoles will still need an external power supply.
