There’s a great deal of symbolism around numbers: proportions, significance, connections. To create these rings we were inspired by the Fibonacci sequence (each number is the sum of the previous two) 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13… this isn’t magic, its present in nature, lots of plants and animals grow following this sequence, then there are spirals, vortexes, snails and those appealing architectural shapes, not to mention the screen proportions of phones and computers, all those golden ratio rectangles are also based on the fibonacci sequence. For these rings we have used the first five numbers that can be combined at will, all together or in pairs, in three or four, or individually. The rings are made from ø1mm silver or gold wire, with a rectangular bar on top, which is sized according to the sequence. When you wear the rings stacked together the bars can compose other rectangles that appear as a single block, but there is nothing to stop your creativity! Arrange or disarrange them the way you prefer.
