Fiesta Gitana is an open-pollinated variety of calendula first introduced in the 1970's. Dwarfed, 10 to 12-inch-tall plants are topped with profuse blooms ranging from pale cream t o vibrant orange. Beautiful flowers also possess medicinal properties and have traditionally been used to treat damaged or irritated skin. We use calendula-infused olive oil to make an herbal hand salve that works wonders on cracked hands in the winter. The attractive yellow and orange calendula flowers are also edible. Fiesta Gitana blooms summer to fall. Each packet contains a minimum of 250 seeds. Show more
