In design and content we have settled on the periphery of American publishing—our books condemned as pornography or celebrated as classics. Obsolete gravure printing processes and often controversial content let us remain as we intended, outside looking in. Produced to coincide with our exhibition at Paris Photo, this limited edition book is a nostalgic look back at over forty years of publishing.
