Paula at Eastern Shore Fig Co. is a woman on a mission - she picks an insane number of pounds of figs by hand from old growth fig trees right here on the Eastern Shore during a cou ple of very short harvest seasons, then literally dashes into the kitchen to prepare her fig butter entirely by hand while the figs are at their peak. You cannot find a cozier flavor profile - it's perfect on toast, drizzled over warm brie as an appetizer or mixed into an old fashioned.
