Day 1 Saturday: Classroom and Pool - Classroom: 8am-1pm (at Spear America Costa Mesa) - Pool Training: 2pm-5pm (offsite location) Day 2 Sunday: Ocean Training (Catalina) - 7am meet time for ferry, return at approximately 6pm. *Please note course times may change or vary. Your instructor will have made a group reservation for the ferry. You will pay the instructor for the roundtrip ferry ticket price directly to their Venmo. The current roundtrip ticket price for the Catalina Flyer in Newport beach for is $94 roundtrip. The ferry ticket cost is not included in the course tuition of $600. Spots fill up quickly! With a high emphasis on freedive safety training and technique development, students master the proper skills to effectively freedive up to depths of 66 feet/20 meters.
