A filter housing is an essential element for the installation and maintenance of your ice machine water filter system. The filter housing cap stops the water flow at an end location, while a filter housing sump holds water at the bottom of the filter cartridge. This helps the cartridge to work efficiently in removing impurities found in tap water, which is an essential part of clear ice production.
