These Filter Housing Bypass Kits are made to be used in conjunction with the Big Blue Housing Install Kits. Adding a bypass to your Big Blue Housing helps to make changing filters easier by providing a way to bypass the filter housing in the event of a clogged filter cutting off the water supply to the house. This also is important should something happen to the housing to cause damage or a leak so it can be bypassed and not interrupt water flow to the house by simply closing the inlet/outlet valves. This is available for 1" and 3/4" tubing sizes.
