We taste tropical fruits, lemon drop and gin tonic. Species Arabica Varietal SL14 and SL28 Process Anaerobic FermentationOrigin Bulambuli District, UgandaRoast Filter Rooted in Ugandan soil and heritage, this lot bridges tradition with experimental processing — an expression of Afro-futurism by the producers of the Balambuli Kwigate Coffee. Ripe cherries are carefully handpicked by smallholder farmers in the Bulambuli coffee belt of the Mount Elgon ranges at 1,900–2,500 masl. A sealed, extended fermentation unlocks bold flavors and explosive aromatics before the beans are slowly dried on raised beds. These beans are responsibly sourced in partnership with Mimea Coffee.
