In the future, Artificial Intelligence has eliminated all jobs. The only type of human-based work that exists are runs that people do to transport various products for the machine-based society. Humans no longer have names and simply go by numbers. Final Run 2027 takes place in the near future. It follows our main characters 4 (Michael J. Vogelsang) and 5 (Evan Jacobs) as they do what they believe is going to be a lucrative final run. In the process, they try to game a system that can no longer be gamed. Or can it? When 4 gets injured in a botched robbery of the machine's products, the final run becomes a race against time in which our main characters are met with obstacle after obstacle as they try to get the most out this last score.
