When I created Steady as the Wind Calls, I wanted to capture that sacred moment of stillness before action—the space where balance meets intuition, where the soul listens before it moves. The kingfisher, perched atop a tower of carefully stacked stones, embodies this knowing. It does not rush. It does not falter. It waits until the wind whispers the right moment to take flight. As I layered the deep blues, warm golds, and soft ethereal textures, I felt the quiet strength of this scene, a reminder that true power comes not from constant motion but from perfect alignment.
