They are sealed with UV resin so the glitter won't flake and the image won't peel. All interchangeable badge reels are made with high quality dual lock Velcro to make them interchangeable yet secure. Acrylic may chip or break when dropped. Try to avoid when possible. Avoid leaving in your car to avoid the high heat and sunlight exposure. Extended exposure to heat and UV rays could cause yellowing or cracking. Clean with soap and water, never alcohol as it will diminish the shine.
