Melcourt Pine Mini Chips Finishing Bark is perfect for mulching borders and potted plants whilst adding a great polished finish to your outdoor space. We suggest applying a 3cm lay er of bark to the top of your soil to help conserve moisture and deter weeds and pests. Overtime, the bark breaks down to an organic compost, helping to feed the plants. Mulching plants helps to provide an insulating layer which substantially reduces the effects of ground freezing and over-heating during extreme weather conditions.
