Fionia stool is a modern, Nordic interpretation of the ancient X-chair. The lightweight and folding stool has a simple, triangular construction with a stable surface often used as a bedside table or elegant stand for books, pots and flowers as well. As Skagerak’s first stool ever and designed back in 1986, Fionia stool has become an iconic item serving multiple purposes in all rooms of the house. Oak is a sturdy and hardwearing type of wood containing natural tannins that will protect against bacterial growth. Combined with its light, elegant colour and well-defined grains, this makes oak wood safe choice for high-quality interior. As the wood is untreated it may be affected by grease and colorants. For this reason, we recommend saturating the wood with soap or a suitable furniture oil to make it more resistant. If you wish to use soap or oil, use a suitable product.
