A beautiful and unique cut of Cassiterite Mineral Crystal Stone electroformed with copper. Size 8 ring. Each piece is lovingly made in my home and takes days to complete. I prep ea ch piece with stones or crystals. Seal the portion I wish to leave exposed and paint with conductive paint for the portion I wish copper to grow. It is then submerged in an acid bath with copper anodes (a copper pipe in my case). Electricity is applied for the copper ions to travel from the anode to the cathode (my piece). After a time period of 6-36 hours, I pull the piece from the bath and sand, grind, polish with my dremel. Then patina and seal. Handmade in Eau Claire, WI I thank you so much for viewing my art!
