The Fire by Design Aura Square Fire Pit is a GFRC gas fire pit table with a square form and wide tabletop surface, available in 42", 48", and 60" outer dimensions. Configured for Natural Gas or Liquid Propane. Rated for permanent outdoor installation. Built to order in the USA — 4 to 5 week lead time. The Aura Square is distinguished from the Geo Square by its deeper tabletop ledge (9"–12") and taller proportions — optimized for seating-height use around dining or lounge furniture. Contractors specify it for high-end outdoor living installations where the fire pit also functions as a primary gathering table. Why the Fire by Design Aura Square Fire Pit Is Different GFRC construction — frost-resistant, UV-stable, and structurally superior to poured concrete. The Aura series uses proportionally wider tabletop surfaces than the Geo series, making it more functional as a table rather than a purely decorative fire feature. Optional AWEIS 24VAC ignition — commercial-grade, field-serviceable. 304 stainless steel burner hardware. 19 GFRC color options at no upcharge. Built to order in the USA. Features GFRC construction: Frost-resistant, UV-stable, no rust. Optional AWEIS ignition (24VAC): All-Weather Electronic Ignition System with field-serviceable pilot burner. Rated for winds in excess of 55 mph; relights about 15 seconds after a blowout. 304 stainless steel fire ring burner: 12" ring on 42" and 48" models; 24" ring on 60" model. Wide tabletop surface: 9" (42"), 11.5" (48"), 12" (60"). Thermopile safety shutoff: Automatic gas cutoff on flame-out. 24V transformer included with the electronic ignition upgrade: requires a 120VAC GFCI outlet. LP models include air mixer and safety backup valve. 19 GFRC color options. Fire by Design limited warranty: GFRC body 2 years, burner ring lifetime, stainless steel burner pan 5 years, electronic ignition 3 years residential and 1 year commercial.
