Appearance Fire Red shrimp display solid red coloration across the body with only minor translucency, typically on the legs and rostrum. Colour is consistently stronger and more even than Sakura grade. Full opacity including coloured legs is the marker of the higher Painted Fire Red grade. Females typically develop deeper coloration and grow slightly larger than males. Mature specimens often show the strongest intensity of colour.
