Fireball Whisky Countdown Calendar 20PK 50ML is a holiday countdown set containing twenty 50ml bottles of cinnamon-flavored Canadian whisky at 33% ABV (66 proof). Fireball earned an 87-point rating from the Beverage Testing Institute of Chicago and a Gold Medal at the 2010 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, making this calendar a seasonal showcase for one of the best-selling flavored whiskies in North America. Quick Facts: ABV: 33% (66 proof) | Origin: Canada (blended & flavored in Louisville, Kentucky, USA) | Style: Cinnamon-Flavored Whisky | Producer: Sazerac Company Production & Heritage Fireball begins with a Canadian whisky base sourced from multiple undisclosed Canadian distilleries. The defining production step takes place at the Sazerac Company's facility in Louisville, Kentucky, where natural cinnamon oil, sugar, and glycerin are blended into the base spirit to create the brand's signature sweet heat and viscous mouthfeel. Unlike bourbon-based cinnamon competitors, Fireball relies on the lighter, smoother character of Canadian whisky as its foundation, allowing the cinnamon flavoring and sweeteners to take center stage. The Countdown Calendar packages twenty individual 50ml bottles — totaling one liter of liquid — in an advent-style box designed for daily pours during the holiday season. Tasting Notes Aroma: Bold, sweet cinnamon dominates the nose immediately, followed by softer notes of vanilla and a faint wisp of oak from the whisky base. The overall impression is sugary and inviting, like cinnamon candy fresh from the wrapper. Taste: The entry is sweet and spicy, with intense cinnamon heat arriving front and center. At mid-palate, brown sugar and soft whisky undertones emerge, giving the liquid more depth than its candy-forward reputation might suggest. The warmth builds gradually without becoming harsh. Finish: A lingering blend of spice and sweetness that fades into a fiery, satisfying warmth. The cinnamon note persists, though it softens into a sugary glow rather than a sharp burn. How to Drink Fireball The 50ml format is tailor-made for chilled shots straight from the freezer, which is how a large portion of Fireball is consumed worldwide. The cold temperature tames the sweetness slightly and amplifies the clean cinnamon kick. Apple Cider Fireball: Pour one 50ml bottle into warm or cold apple cider for a seasonal drink where the cinnamon amplifies the fruit's natural spice. Cinnamon Old Fashioned: Substitute Fireball for the sugar cube and bitters in a classic Old Fashioned — it supplies both sweetness and spice in a single pour. Fireball Ginger Snap: Mix with ginger beer and a squeeze of lime; the ginger and cinnamon create a layered, warming highball ideal for cold-weather gatherings. Best For Holiday gifting for the Fireball fan who appreciates a daily countdown ritual Stocking stuffers and White Elephant exchanges during the holiday party season Hosting a winter cocktail night with ready-portioned 50ml pours Sharing among friends at tailgates, ski trips, or New Year's Eve celebrations Frequently Asked Questions What does Fireball taste like? Fireball delivers an immediate burst of sweet cinnamon candy backed by brown sugar and subtle whisky undertones. The finish is warm and spicy without the harsh alcohol burn found in higher-proof spirits. How does Fireball compare to Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire? Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire uses a Tennessee sour mash bourbon base at 35% ABV (70 proof), which gives it a slightly drier, more whiskey-forward profile. Fireball, at 33% ABV, leans sweeter and more candy-like thanks to its lighter Canadian whisky base and added sweeteners. Is Fireball good for cocktails? Fireball works well in simple mixed drinks and warm seasonal cocktails because its pronounced cinnamon sweetness blends easily with apple cider, ginger beer, and cola without requiring additional sweetener. Where is Fireball made? The Canadian whisky base is sourced from multiple distilleries in Canada, and the final blending with natural cinnamon oil, sugar, and glycerin takes place at the Sazerac Company's facility in Louisville, Kentucky. What foods pair well with Fireball? Apple pie or apple crisp mirrors the cinnamon profile naturally. Dark chocolate truffles contrast the sweetness with bitterness. Candied pecans echo the brown sugar notes. Cinnamon donuts double down on the spice theme for a fun, indulgent match. Smoked barbecue ribs with a sweet glaze complement the whisky's sugary heat. What sizes does Fireball come in? Fireball is widely available in 50ml, 375ml, 750ml, 1L, and 1.75L bottles, as well as specialty packs like this 20-pack Countdown Calendar featuring twenty 50ml bottles. Is Fireball worth the price? Fireball positions as an accessible, value-tier flavored whisky, and the Countdown Calendar format adds novelty and gifting appeal that justifies a modest premium over buying individual 50ml bottles separately. Why Fireball Countdown Calendar? What sets this calendar apart is simple logistics: twenty pre-portioned 50ml bottles eliminate the need to measure or commit to a full-size purchase, making it the most shareable format in the Fireball lineup. The liquid inside earned 87 points from the Beverage Testing Institute of Chicago and a Gold Medal at the 2010 San Francisco World Spirits Competition — credentials that confirm it holds its own within the competitive flavored whisky category. For holiday entertaining, the countdown format turns a familiar spirit into an event, giving each day its own sealed bottle. Few seasonal spirit packages deliver this combination of brand recognition, portability, and built-in ritual at a value price point.
