Description for FIRELIGHT by Linda Sandifer: From the moment she saw the fiery red stallion on the cliffs near her reservation, Phoenix Shapell knew it was the supernatural Fire Horse of her dreams. But while the spirited half Navajo beauty set out to tame the elusive animal, an angry flint-hard rancher named Rafe Cutrell wanted to destroy it. Rafe Cutrell was ready to risk his life to gun down the horse he called a killer. Blaming the stallion for his father's crippling accident and another man's death, he was bound to clash with the defiant Phoenix. Instead, he ignited with desire whenever he saw her, touched her, and took her lips in a kiss. Divided by heritage and a powerful distrust, they fought a heated, restless passion. Now, racing across the mesas, they were locked together in a journey to find the stallion. At stake was their hearts, their future, and an ecstasy as wild as the spirit of the land...and as mysterious as the demon horse that would lead them to their destiny.
