As wood seasons and dries over time, it shrinks and swells at different rates, which can create surface cracks called “checks.” These checks are normal and do not affect the structural integrity of the furniture. In log furniture, checks typically do not extend beyond the center of the log and may occasionally develop a secondary check. This is part of the authentic character of real wood furniture. Returns Returns in original condition are accepted. The purchase price, less original shipping/handling costs and a 20% restocking fee, will be refunded.
