The Firestik Fire-Up 99 (FS-99-W) is a high-performance upgrade top section for the Solarcon A99 base antenna. Simply remove the original upper section of your A99 and screw in the Fire-Up 99's 3/8"x24 threaded base — no tools required. Firestik's top-loaded 5/8-wave coil design creates a lower angle of radiation compared to the standard A99 top section, pushing more of your signal toward the horizon for greater range on the CB band. The patented bare-hands tuneable tip allows fine-tuning to a specific frequency without tools, further expanding the overall tuning range of your A99 installation. Rugged solid fibreglass core for long-term durability. Important: The FS-99 is not a standalone CB antenna. Its standalone frequency is 32.700 MHz. When fitted to the Solarcon A99, the combined sections bring the primary operational frequency to approximately 27.185 MHz (CB band). It must be used with the A99 base section.
