We rolled into town at about 9pm in the rain. Mud and puddles EVERYWHERE.It’s quite an experience sleeping underground. It’s dead quiet, there are no windows (technically you could sleep til midday and not know) and it’s warm. The air is dry and if I had shut my door it would have been pitch black.I actually love the dug out concept and prices in Coobs are pretty affordable.We've been to Coober Pedy 3 times and it never gets old (for me anyway).Coobs you are forever interesting and full of the unusual.
