Chris Delorenzo is an artist hailing from the ice coast of Boston, Massachusetts. We're big fans of his unique style with super clean lines and simplified flowing illustrations and always sneaking in there more to discover each time you take a closer look. There's a piece he previously created of pine trees that caught my eye so I gave him a call. After a little brainstorming we set out to use the long vertical ski canvas to visually tell the classic story of an epic day in the backcountry. Starting at the tail rolling up in your camper, then going for a walk in the woods, meeting critters along the way towards the prize at the top. When you get there, you pull off your skins with a mountain of pristine powder in front of you, ready to drop in to get the best “first tracks” of your life. When I first reached out to him up, one of his first questions was, “can I get a pair of the skis too?” Welcome to the team Chris! I’m building only 350 pair of this new Limited Edition graphic on “The Slacker” ski and hand signing and numbering each pair so you have a very unique ski like no one else on the skin track. Grab a pair before these one-of-a-kind skis sell out! See more of Chris's artwork at Chriselorenzo.comFollow him on Instagram
