This device contains 4 fold-out arms with 2 germicidal rods each, for a total of 8 dimer inducing germicidal UV-C rods that deliver maximum wattage and range. This unit outputs germicidal rays in the strongest pathogen killing spectrum. The doped fused quartz glass rods of the FirstResponder Spider output in the 254 nm radiation range (which produces negligible ozone levels) but blocks the 185 nm wavelength (which produce higher ozone levels).
