The FirstSpear Siege-R Optimized is a tactical carrier that holds soft and hard armor. It accepts SPEAR BALCS Cut Soft Armor and is available with or without NIJ Category IIIA.06 soft armor inserts. The design features adjustable padded shoulder pads that are quick detach on the front and rear. Rapidly switch-out into and out of the enhanced M.A.S.S. Shoulder System! The front and back plate pockets are internal to the vest, making the system slimmer and better suited for confined & tubular spaces. The internal bellyband is removable for those who do not wish to use it all the time. The exterior cummerbund is close on the front with Tubes Quick Detach system. Quick-drying airflow mesh is utilized on the interior to reduce overall weight and shed water quickly.
