Signed oil by Bertil Wahlberg (1923-1980).Great vintage condition in its original linen mounted frame. Beautiful palette and movement through the brushstrokes. Wahlberg studied art under Isaac Grunewald, the father of Swedish Modernism. During that time he travelled extensively across Europe, exhibiting the results at Karlskrona in 1944 alongside the painter Olle Ängkvist. His paintings hang in the permanent collection of the Swedish Museum of Modern Art and the Trelleborg Museum.
