It is an optional item that will reduce sound levels by approximately 10 dBA, and dis perse exhaust to reduce airflow, when in place.Usage Information: The Eson 2 Diffuser Cover is washable and reusable making it a great, eco-friendly addition to any Eson 2 mask.
