The hat is constructed of a lightweight, 100% nylon twill in a pale beige color that reflects the sun’s rays. Bonded, dual-layer mesh panels on either side of the head let air pass through while still keeping insects and the sun out. Extra-large, rigid front brim shades the entire face. The removable neck shield hangs to the shoulders and offers easy off and on with 4 Velcro™ attachment tabs. Two folded top darts allow the neck shield to flare out and away from the body, allowing maximum air flow-through. Outer surface of the neck shield is lightweight twill, inner surface offers a mesh that’s edge-stitched only, to ensure a loose drape that further aids in ventilation.
