Thicker straps provide extra support, especially for heavier prosthetics like the Action Toy Series, though they do create a slightly wider, bulkier front panel. Thinner straps are recommended for the STP Skins and can also be doubled up for additional support when using larger prosthetics. How to measure for the perfect fit: Use a measuring tape to measure the circumference around the top of your thigh at the level where the elastic will sit.
